There doesn't seem to be "right" words such a situation where your heart breaks. All you get out is "I'm sorry for you loss" and "he's in a better place". But that doesn't take the pain away or keep the tears from flowing. The Bible says that we should cry for the new borns who have to live on this earth and be joyful for those who pass on and get to go back home. Ed is home now, looking down on his family and friends waiting to be reunited again one day. Ed was definitely a good man and a great friend, like family. Sue and the family will be in our thoughts and prayers. We love y'all dearly. Please know Matt and I are here for you all. ❤️

It is so hard to find word's to say.But I first must say I had the privilege of knowing Eddie almost all my life. He was such a caring, kind loving man. He treated and helped my Brothers Timmy, Jeff and I. And I will always be thankful for the time Eddie and Sue let me live at there home with my friend Lisa. I know Eddie is in Heaven now. And no longer suffering. I love you Mr.Eddie Farley. And to Lisa and Sue,I am so sorry for the loss of your dear Daddy and Husband. May God bless you and help you through this very devastating sad time in both of your lives.May he comfort and wrap you in his loving arms. I Love You Both Always, Lisa Bass Burton

I have known Eddie all my life.He was a true friend and gentleman. He always ask about my family every time I seen him. My husband dearly loved him and would run into him at the grocery store and they would talk about old times. He was a kind and gentle giant of a man. God bless his family and our prayers are with them.

Big man with a big heart and a big smile almost any time. I worked with Big Ed at FCSO for a while and always looked forward to being around him. I am sure he will be missed by anyone who knew him. We always joked about our music and taking requests (we get a lot of requests but usually sing anyway!). My condolences to Ed's family and friends. Tom Evans

Heartfelt condolences to Eddie's family and to all that hold him dear. Working with Eddie, in the '70's, while he was with the EMS service was both positive and encouraging. I could never forget the kindness and compassion that he showed all that were in his care. He was never to busy to help our staff when needed. He was always so cheerful and helpful. Jesus shown through him. How excited he must be in his new home...faith becoming sight. God Bless You Eddie.

We have lost a good man, friend and a man of God. He made us laugh and could sing a song to bring us peace during hard times. We will miss you and thank you for the memories. DUHT

Hey Sue and Lisa and all the Family, you all are in our Prayers. I can't help but wonder what Luke said to Eddie when he saw him enter into Heaven. I'm sure they are singing together like they have never sung before. Our loved ones are missed so much and no words can explain our hurt but God's Grace is sufficient! We love you all. Mr Ed was a great example of what an American is, and a very loving/caring person to everyone. I wasn't able to spend much personal time with him, but the time I did have with him there was always something shared and learned. It's a shame he passed so young, but I'm sure with the time he had he had impacted and gave much wisdom to everyone he came across. I'm sure he is enjoying the afterlife smiling down on everyone with no problems. His family is in our prayers.
