Mr. Raymond Earl Diamond, Jr., 57, of Winston-Salem, died Thursday, October 12, 2017 at the W.G. (Bill) Hefner VA Medical Center in Salisbury.
Mr. Diamond was born in Century, FL, the son of Raymond Earl Diamond, Sr. and Dorothy Wolfe Diamond. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was involved as a Project Manager of several of the newer buildings in downtown Winston-Salem. He was a big supporter of the local music scene and had been an avid fisherman in years past.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Renee Presley Diamond, three sons: Raymond (Pooh) Diamond, III, Jeremy (Paige) Davis, Troy A. Davis; grandson, Raymond Diamond, IV; granddaughter, Bethany A. Davis; and grandson, Julian Davis; his mother, Dorothy Wolfe Diamond; brother, Jack (Sharon) Diamond; sister, Denise (Cliff) Barr; and a number of nieces and nephews. Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
