Lindsay.....While I know how insufficient and fruitless any words of mine will be which attempt to lessen the pain of your grief from a loss so overwhelming, I cannot refrain from offering to you the help and consolation that may be found in knowing that you are in Pat's and my thoughts and prayers. Barbara! Wow! What a wonderful human being, manifesting those qualities we cherish and seek to teach our children and grandchildren. Barbara made life better for all of us. What an honor and delight it was for me to officiate when you and Barbara were married at Centenary. I knew the nuptial knot was well tied and would be a spring of happiness for both of you. I have always thanked God for that day and for our ongoing friendship. Each day I will pray that God will lessen the anguish of your bereavement with the passing of time, the thought of the new life that belongs to Barbara and leave you with cherished memories of the life and love you and Barbara shared. Blessings and love to my dear friend.

We can look forward to the day when there will be no more sickness and death. Revelation 21:4 says; "And he (God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away". Please accept my sincere condolences. Always remember God loves you and he cares for you! (1 Corinthians 15:26; Isaiah 33:24; ) jw.org
