Rose Marie Tuttle Sprinkle, 93, of 6601 Yadkinville Road, Pfafftown, NC, died January 21, 2016, at Vienna Village Retirement Community.

Funeral services will be conducted by Jeff Hamrick on Friday, January 29, 2016, at Salem Funeral Home, 120 S. Main Street, Winston-Salem, NC. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 a.m. Burial to be held at Elm Grove United Methodist Church, 7240 Reynolda Road, Pfafftown, NC.

Mrs. Sprinkle was born in Forsyth County on March 1, 1922, daughter of Samuel Clifton and Martha Doub Tuttle. She grew up in the Vienna Dozier community, graduated from Old Richmond High School, and attended one year at Women’s College in Greensboro (UNC-G).

She was predeceased by her husband, C. Elwood Sprinkle; son, Charles E. Sprinkle, Jr.; and brother, Samuel Grant Tuttle.

Mrs. Sprinkle assisted her husband in his insurance business, played the piano, sang in the choir, and was a life time member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church.

Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law Glenda & Henry Andrews of Pfafftown, NC; daughter-in-law, Vickie H. Sprinkle of Winston-Salem, NC; four grandchildren: Maria A. Logan (Mark) of Hickory, NC, Kelly A. Upshaw (Richard) of Dunwoody , GA, Charles Elwood Sprinkle, III (Charlie) of Austin, Texas, and Clinton S. Sprinkle of Knoxville, Tenn.; five great grandchildren: Grant and Jackson Logan of Hickory, NC, Bronte, Joseph and Amelia Rose Upshaw of Dunwoody, GA; and one brother, Peter D. Tuttle and wife, Glenda of Conyers, GA.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Vienna Village for their many kindnesses and excellent care.
